There are 2 restaurants to choose from at Asara, Raphael’s and The Bistro at Tapas. These as well as the Sansibar Whisky and Cigar Lounge have a waterside position and offer exciting fine dining, light meals and al fresco options on the terrace with open fireplaces in winter. Private dining within Raphael’s is another option. Functions and conferences are held in the Grand Ballroom where up to 150 people can be seated.
Asara Wine Estate is a working wine farm producing exceptional wines to please a diverse range of palettes. Sublime wines can be sampled in the Wine Tasting Centre. Seating 50, the tasting room opens onto a courtyard with an open fireplace. Other facilities include a designer Kitchen Emporium, delicatessen and clothing boutique. Guests can also enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool, relaxing steam room session or in-suite massage.
Asara is in the heart of the Stellenbosch winelands and there are many attractions in the area including fabulous golf courses.
